ONU Race Notes: The Ohio Northern men's cross country team will compete in the Great Lakes Regional Championships Saturday … The meet will be held at the Gainey Athletic Complex in Grand Rapids, Michigan … The men are slated to run at 11:00 a.m. while the women will compete at 12:15 p.m. … The Polar Bears have placed in the top half of the field in five of their six meets this season with two victories … Northern is fresh off a fourth-place finish at the Ohio Athletic Conference Championships two weekends ago … In that race, sophomore Patrick Baker paced the squad, crossing 25th with a time of 26:55.4 … Junior Travis Sutter wasn't far behind, placing 27th with a time of 26:57.7 … Junior Jordan Green took third on the team, clocking in at 27:04.2, while junior Dylan McKean and freshman Breydan Hann rounded out ONU's top-five with times of 27:04.2 and 27:41.8, respectively … The Polar Bears finished 10th at last year's Great Lakes Regional in Shelbyville, Indiana. 

Head Coach Jason Maus: Maus is in his 11th season as head coach of the men's cross-country team … He has coached four men's cross-country teams to Ohio Athletic Conference titles, including a string of three consecutive crowns from 2015-17 … Maus currently stands as the all-time winningest coach in Ohio Northern school history for both men's and women's cross-country.
