Men's Cross Country remains ranked No. 24 in fifth weekly USTFCCCA Poll

ADA — The Ohio Northern men's cross country team remained No. 24 in the fifth weekly United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association  poll, released on Wednesday.

The Polar Bears (46-6 overall) received 93 points in the poll, six more than last week when they were also ranked No. 24.

Northern moved back into the poll a week ago after posting an impressive first place finish at the All-Ohio Championships on Sept. 29.

North Central (Ill.) remained in the top spot with 280 points and all eight first place votes, while SUNY Geneseo is second with 270 points and Wisconsin-La Crosse rounded out the top-3 vote-getters with 263 points.

The Polar Bears will return to action Saturday when they travel to Elsah, Ill. to compete in the Principia (Ill.) Cowbell Classic Pre-National Meet.
