This Weekend's Preview: The Ohio Northern men's track and field program returns to action this Saturday, April 13 for the 2019 All-Ohio Outdoor Championships, hosted by Ohio Wesleyan ... Running and field events will begin at 10 a.m. at the George Gauthier Track in Delaware ... In addition, senior All-American Ian McVey will travel to Bucknell (Pa.) in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania to compete in the 5,000-meter run at the Bison Outdoor Classic this weekend ... McVey will run at 9:30 p.m. on Saturday evening ... The Polar Bears enter the weekend sporting a 33-2 overall record ... Last weekend, the program captured six event titles at the Oberlin Invitational, which was not scored for final team standings ... On the track, sophomores Sam Krabacher and Colin McCullough and freshmen Michael Mustari and Nate Dean each won individual events ... Krabacher led a 1-2 ONU finish in the 1,500-meter run with a new outdoor career-best 4:05.75 ... Meanwhile, Mustari and McCullough swept the 110- and 400-meter hurdles competitions, finishing in :15.19 and :58.38, respectively ... Dean set a new career-best and edged out a victory in the 200-meter dash with a :22.03 clocking ... In the field, sophomore Matt Bradshaw and freshman Luke Shellhaas won titles in the discus and pole vault fields, respectively ... Bradshaw launched the discus 46.58 meters (152' 10") to capture the discus title while also establishing a new career-best in the hammer throw with a 52.90-meter (173' 7") effort for runner-up honors ... Shellhaas cleared 4.48 meters (14' 8.25") in the pole vault to claim the remaining victory as he, freshman Andrew Buderer, and sophomore Donald Gaylord II ended 1-2-3 in the event with season-best marks.
