This Weekend's Preview: The Ohio Northern men's track and field team will look to make their last efforts at qualifying for the 2018 NCAA Div. III National Championships in LaCrosse, Wis. as they compete in the 2-day Dr. Keeler Invitational hosted by North Central (Ill.) College ... Thursday is set to kick off at 11 a.m. (CST) with the men's and women's hammer and discus throws ... Thursday's schedule will feature only three running events in the 4x800-meter relay, the 5,000 and 10,000-meter runs ... Field events are set to begin at 2 p.m. (CST) on Friday, before running events begin at 3:30 p.m. (CST) with the 4x100-meter relay ... Northern enters the meet after finishing third at the OAC Championships two weeks ago in Ada ... In that meet, Northern saw five athletes earn OAC Champion honors as seniors Matt Molinaro, Alec Lunney and Alex Sibila, junior Ian McVey and sophomore Andrew Shelton each earned the honor ... Molinaro, Lunney, Sibila, McVey and Shelton were joined by senior Luke Bogdanovich as individuals to earn All-Conference honors ... Molinaro was named the OAC Distance Runner of the Year on the men's side for his efforts ... He currently ranks second in the nation in the 800-meter run entering the meet.
