This Week's Matches: The Ohio Northern men's tennis program continues its 2018-19 season with a five-match trip to Hilton Head Island, S.C. over Spring Break ... The Polar Bears will open the week with a match against Randolph (Va.) on Sunday, March 3 at the Hilton Head Beach & Tennis Club at 2:45 p.m. ... ONU will then battle Wilkes (Pa.), Bridgewater (Va.), Roanoke (Va.), and Eastern Nazarene (Mass.) over the six-day trip ... Northern enters their southeastern trip sporting a 1-2 overall record this season ... The Polar Bears are coming off a 9-0 loss to No. 34-ranked Oberlin last Sunday ... Freshman Andrew Cochran led the individual efforts with a 6-4, 7-6 defeat at No. 5 singles, winning a team-high 10 games ... In doubles action, sophomore Hoang Do and freshman Noah Elliott topped the performances with an 8-4 loss in the No. 2 slot ... Junior Connor Christian leads the program with a 7-5 overall record this season ... Currently, five individuals are tied for first on the team with four singles victories, including sophomore Vinh Thai, freshman Zach Beaschler, Christian, Cochran, and Elliott ... Christian, Elliott, and freshman Nate Meadors are tied for the team lead with three doubles victories each.

All-Time Series: Ohio Northern will meet Randolph (Va.) and Eastern Nazarene (Mass.) for the first time in program history during the week ... The Polar Bears defeated Wilkes (Pa.) 5-0 in their lone meeting during the 2011 NCAA Division III Tournament ... They also currently lead the all-time series against Roanoke (Va.) 4-0 ...
