ADA — The Ohio Northern men's soccer team will open its 2019 season on Aug. 30 at Lake Forest (Ill.) under 22nd-year head coach Brent Ridenour.
The Polar Bears will then play at North Central (Ill.) on Sept. 1 before returning home to host Hope (Mich.) and Calvin (Mich.) Sept. 6-7 at Kerscher Stadium as part of the annual ONU Invitational.
Northern will also host Ohio Wesleyan on Sept. 11, Hanover (Ind.) on Sept. 18, Rose-Hulman (Ind.) on Sept. 21 and Adrian (Mich.) on Sept. 25 and will travel to Oberlin, Huntington (Ind.) and Alma (Mich.) in non-conference action.
The Ohio Athletic Conference portion of the schedule kicks off on Oct. 5 at Marietta.
The Polar Bears will host Baldwin Wallace, Muskingum, Otterbein and Mount Union in OAC action.
OAC Tournament play will begin with the quarterfinals on Nov. 5 and conclude with the finals on Nov. 9.
The Polar Bears the 2018 season 13-7-2 overall and tied for fifth in the OAC with a 4-5-0 record.
