TIFFIN — The Ohio Northern men's golf team finished seventh of nine teams at the Tiffin Kyle Ryman Memorial Tournament Monday and Tuesday at Mohawk Country Club.
The Polar Bears (10-14 overall) finished with a 321-303-306—930 for the 54-hole tournament.
Freshman Josh Steyer (Powell/Olentangy Liberty) tied for 50th with a 236, sophomore Andrew Slusher (Covington) tied for 53rd with a 237 and sophomore Nolan Kimberly (Zanesville) tied for 60th with a 245.
Tiffin won the tournament with an 873, Findlay was second with a 877 and Wittenberg was third with an 878.
ONU was second among the three NCAA Division III schools, defeating Heidelberg (939). Northern also topped NCAA Division II Hillsdale (Mich.) (933).
Tiffin's Britton Hensel won Medalist honors with a 1-under par 215.
The Polar Bears will wrap up its fall schedule Oct. 14-15 at the Lourdes Invitational tournament.
