Saturday's Contest: Saturday's contest is ONU's first road game of the 2018 season and is Homecoming at OU. ONU is 534-492-36 in 124 seasons of play, a winning percentage of .518. ONU is riding a solid 5-game winning streak, which includes the final two games of 2017.

ONU Last Week: Ohio Northern rolled up 610 yards of offense, including 357 on the ground, in a 49-16 victory over Wilmington at Dial-Roberson Stadium. Both of ONU's running backs had career afternoons, as RB A.J. Marks ran 10 times for a career-high 146 yards and a score and RB Brock Martin rushed 23 times for a career-best 136 yards and two scores. QB Anthony McFadden ran 10 times for 78 yards and completed 15-of-22 passes for 253 yards and three scores and WR Chad Rex caught nine passes for 140 yards and a TD for the Polar Bears. Defensively, LB Mark Niles had 10 tackles and LB David Haseleu had six tackles, a sack and a 37-yard pick-6 for ONU. ONU led 21-7 at halftime and 35-10 after 3 quarters.

ONU Leaders: The ONU running game is led by RB A.J. Marks (28 att, 275 yards, 2 TDs), QB Anthony McFadden (32 att, 258 yards) and RB Brock Martin (52 att, 256 yards, 7 TDs). QB Anthony McFadden is 42-of-68 passing for 608 yards and 7 TDs. WR Chad Rex (22 rec, 268 yards, 3 TDs) and WR Caleb Saalfeld (7 rec, 181 yards, 2 TDs) lead the receiving corps. LB Mark Niles, LB David Haseleu and S Andrew Valenti lead the defense with 36, 28 and 25 tackles, respectively.

OU Last Week: Otterbein fell 45-0 at #20 John Carroll last Saturday in University Heights. WR George Redding caught seven passes for 96 yards and ran the ball five times for 23 yards. S Niall Lewison led the Cardinal defense with eight tackles and LB Colton Miles and LB Jacob Tiell were right behind with seven each. JCU out-gained OU 350-142 in total offense, including a 133 to minus-29 advantage on the ground. John Carroll led 7-0 after the first quarter, 28-0 at halftime and 31-0 after three quarters of play.

OU Leaders: The OU running game is led by RB Dakota Smith (34 att, 85 yards, 1 TD). QB Steve Irvin is 26-of-56 passing for 240 yards and QB Bryce Hall is 10-of-20 passing for 119 yards. WR George Redding (12 rec, 135 yards) and WR Reed Tucker (8 rec, 98 yards) lead the OU receivers. S Niall Lewison, LB Ryan Tuchow and LB Jacob Tiell lead the defense with 25, 24 and 22 tackles, respectively. DE Andre Douglas leads OU with 2.5 sacks.

Last Year's Game: Ohio Northern celebrated Homecoming with a 35-7 football victory over Otterbein in Ada. The Polar Bears used a dominating second half in the victory, holding the Cardinals to just 40 yards of total offense and one first down in the final 30 minutes. Meanwhile the ONU offense would gain 243 yards of offense and score 22 points in the second half to put the game away. QB Will Freed completed 28-of-33 passes for 311 yards and 4 TDs, WR Chad Rex caught six passes for 140 yards and 3 TDs and RB Christiaan Williams ran 32 times for 162 yards and a TD. LB Zach Schmerge had 6 tackles to lead the ONU defense. ONU out-gained OU 496-142 in total offense.
