Baseball receives votes in American Baseball Coaches Association poll

ADA — The Ohio Northern baseball team debuted in the American Baseball Coaches Association poll this week after receiving votes in the poll.

For the first time since the 2015-16 season, Northern received votes in the poll.

Northern received 16 votes in the poll after sweeping Baldwin Wallace and Mount Union in back-to-back twinbills.

Trinity (Tex.) held the top spot with 479 points and 15 first place votes, while Rowan (N.J.) is second with 445 points and Randolph-Macon (Va.) rounded out the top-3 with 425 points.

The Polar Bears return to action Wednesday at 1 p.m. as they travel to Westerville to take on Otterbein in a double header.
