    ADA — The Ohio Northern men's basketball team is receiving mention in the fifth weekly D3Hoops.com Top 25 Poll.

    The Polar Bears (10-2 overall, 5-0 Ohio Athletic Conference) received three points in voting conducted by 25 coaches, Sports Information Directors and media members from around the country.

    Northern is making its first appearance in the poll since receiving votes the 2007-08 preseason poll and marks the ninth season in the 10-year history of the D3Hoops.com poll that Ohio Northern has received votes in the poll.

    ADA — The Ohio Northern men's swimming and diving team team is making its first appearance in the College Swimming.com/College Swimming Coaches Association of America Top 25 Poll.

    The Polar Bears (5-4 overall, 2-0 Ohio Athletic Conference) received three points in voting conducted by 25 coaches from around the country.

    Northern is making its first appearance in the poll and received the 44th most votes in the nation.

    The College Swimming.com/CSCAA poll reflects dual meet strength.

    INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. — The Ohio Northern wrestling had a solid showing with three placers at the Midwest Classic Saturday and Sunday, at the University of Indianapolis.

    The Polar Bears finished 14th out of 22 teams, which included 11 nationally ranked teams from Division II, III and NAIA.

    Northern's 39 points were the most among the six NCAA Division III schools in attendance.

    WESTERVILLE -- Ohio Northern got its running game going and posted an 82-61 men's basketball victory at Otterbein Saturday night at the Rike Center.

    The Polar Bears improve to 10-2 overall and stay alone atop the Ohio Athletic Conference with a 5-0 mark, while the Cardinals fall to 3-9, 1-5.

    Kurtis Brown led five ONU players in double figures with 16 points.
