ADA Three Ohio Northern male athletes earned ESPN the Magazine At-Large Academic All-District IV honors as voted upon by the College Sports Information Directors of America.
Seniors Chase Cummings (Tulsa, Okla./Liberty-Benton) and Wes Immler (Lorain/Amherst Steele) and junior Ryan Paul (West Milton/Milton-Union) all earned First Team honors and will now go on the Academic All-America ballot.
The three also earned Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference honors earlier this year.
Paul is a two-time First Team Academic All-OAC honoree. The business management major is also a two-time All-OAC selection.
This season, he was 15-7 in singles (12-5 at No. 3), 15-8 in doubles (12-7 at No. 2) and is 30-15 overall.
In his career, Paul is 39-25 in singles, 53-19 in doubles and 92-44 overall. His 53 doubles wins ranks tenth all-time at ONU.
